CIVCO Announces New Endocavity Guide for GE RIC5-9-D and RIC6-12-D Transducers

CIVCO Medical Solutions has introduced a new disposable endocavity needle guide for the GE RIC5-9-D and RIC6-12-D transducers. The new easy-to-use needle guide snaps securely to the transducer for endocavity puncture procedures, and the disposable design of the guide reduces the risks associated with cross-contamination. The over-molded design provides a secure fit to the transducer locating features providing patient safety throughout the procedure. The guide offers smooth movement and navigation during puncture procedures. CIVCO’s new guide accepts 16-18 gauge instruments and is anticipated to assist during numerous gynecological procedures. Select kits include sterile gel packet, transducer cover and colored elastic bands.
