CIVCO Introduces Tracking Brackets for Esaote EM Sensors; Expands Esaote Guidance Offering
CIVCO has introduced tracking brackets for Esaote’s PA240, TRT33, LA332, CA541, and EC1123 transducers. CIVCO’s new tracking brackets for Esaote utilize a two-part system consisting of a custom reusable tracking bracket/cover and a reusable driveBAY™ general purpose electromagnetic sensor. The reusable bracket offers a single mounting point for placement of Esaote’s general purpose electromagnetic sensor. The bracket provides a secure attachment cover for maintaining stable sensor position providing accuracy throughout the procedure. Sterile disposable transducer cover kits are included with the tracking bracket and include CIV-Flex™ transducer cover, gel and bands. General purpose sensors are available from Esaote.
CIVCO Medical Solutions has introduced the Infiniti needle guidance system for use with Esaote’s CA541, LA522, LA523, LA532, and LA435 transducers. Esaote’s transducers, coupled with the Infiniti needle guidance system, are used in imaging applications to shorten procedure time and increase accuracy. Together they offer a safe, reliable and efficient tool to increase clinical confidence in ultrasound-guided procedures such as regional anesthesia, catheter placement, breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy and vascular access. The Infiniti needle guide offers multiple angle capabilities for shallow and deep access, and the open channel design of the needle guide allows instruments to be positioned in the scan plane providing a safe, efficient means for ultrasound-guided puncture procedures.
CIVCO is also announcing the release of its Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system for Esaote’s CA541, LA522, LA523, LA532, LA435, LA332, CA631, CA123, and BC441 transducers. The Ultra-Pro II utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide. The single-use design of the needle guide reduces the risk of cross-contamination. Together, these tools offer physicians reduced technique variability, a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time. The needle guide directs instruments according to on-screen software guidelines. The Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system is designed to increase the productivity of ultrasound-guided procedures including tissue biopsy, fluid aspirations and catheter placement. In addition, multi-angle brackets offer professionals several needle paths to reach the targeted anatomy during puncture procedures.
