Ultra-Pro II Needle Guide for Philips X6-1 Transducer
CIVCO is announcing the release of its Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system for Philip’s X6-1 PureWave xMatrix array transducer on the iU22 xMatrix ultrasound system. The X6-1 transducer produces live bi-plane imaging. The Ultra Pro II utilizes a two-part system consisting of a custom reusable biopsy bracket and a disposable snap-on needle guide. The X6-1 transducer allows clinicians to achieve ultra-thin 2D slices with exceptional spatial and contrast resolution and quickly generate high-resolution 4D volume images. Together, these tools offer physicians reduced technique variability, a shorter learning curve and reduced procedure time in needle guidance.
The single-use design of CIVCO’s Ultra-Pro II needle guide reduces the risk of cross-contamination. The Ultra-Pro II needle guidance system is designed to increase the productivity of ultrasound-guided procedures including tissue biopsy, fluid aspirations and catheter placement. In addition, multi-angle brackets offer professionals several needle paths to reach the targeted anatomy during puncture procedures.
