BK Medical Releases Powerful New Mobile Ultrasound Battery Pack

Analogic Corporation subsidiary BK Medical announced the introduction of a full back-up power solution for the Flex Focus family of mobile ultrasound systems, including the newly introduced Flex Focus 700 Surgical Ultrasound System.
“The new BK Power Pack significantly enhances the value of the Flex Focus ultrasound systems in both the surgical suite and the emergency room by providing clinicians the freedom to attend to their patients with no downtime between procedures,” said Michael Brock, president of BK Medical. “The Flex Focus is one of the first cart-based ultrasound system to feature such a powerful, full back-up power solution, which we believe will improve overall departmental efficiency and patient care, as well as reduce patient wait times.”
The fully charged BK Power Pack will provide approximately four hours of continuous operation and three hours of uninterrupted scanning time, which includes both scanning and freezing during each patient exam. www.bkmed.com
