Esaote Shows the MyLab™ Gold Platform at RSNA

Esaote displayed the latest innovations on their MyLab Gold Platform at RSNA 2009.  Their new release, version 6, included improvements for abdominal, small parts, breast, musculoskeletal, ob/gyn imaging, and cardiac/vascular applications.

One enhancement included in version 6 is the introduction of high-definition zoom, which is now available in real-time as an alternative to conventional zoom. Users can choose between high-resolution zoom and conventional zoom. High-definition zoom only acquires the image inside the ROI (region of interest). As a result, spatial resolution, contrast resolution and frame rate are maximized so even the smallest structures can be clearly visualized and analyzed.

Esaote also is introducing new cardiovascular transducers. iQProbes Technology represents the next generation of transducers suitable for a wide range of clinical applications. The combination of the Active Matrix Composite Material, Multiple Adaptive Layers, the Structure Filling Materials, and the Low-Absorption Geometric Lens Manufacturing Process delivers huge improvements in terms of Signal to Noise ratio, providing unmatched sensitivity.
