SonoSite Names Bowers As New Exec

SonoSite, developer of compact ultrasound systems, has appointed John S. Bowers, Jr., as senior vice president of strategic development and patient safety innovations.

Bowers has held a number of general management, business development and sales management leadership roles, according to the Bothell, Washington based company. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Northstar Neuroscience, a medical device company and developer of treatments for neurological diseases and disorders.
